Read the tape
Everything on this site is reproducible from the chain. These pages show the recipe, the ticket's rules, and the risks, in plain words.
01OverviewTAPE2 is a market for 7-day call options on Robinhood Chain memecoins. The price of every option is computed by the chain from the pool's own Uniswap v3 observation ring, and every option is settled in the coin itself. There is no oracle, no price feed, and no house.02How it worksA TAPE2 call has two people and one pool. The writer owns the coins and wants a premium. The buyer wants a 7-day shot at the coin for a known, capped cost. The pool's tape sets the price between them.03Pricing recipeEvery number TAPE2 shows can be reproduced with one `eth_call` to the pool and a few lines of arithmetic. This page is the recipe. Nothing here needs TAPE2, a key, or an account; the pool answers anyone.04Risks for writersWriting a call means selling the upside of your coins for a week in exchange for a premium today. The premium is yours no matter what. Everything else on this page is what you give up or what can go wrong. Read it before you lock anything.05EconomicsTAPE2 has three flows of money and one token. The flows are set by the contract at launch and do not change afterwards.06SecurityTAPE2's only input from the outside world is the pool's observation ring. This page lists the ways someone might try to bend that input, and what the design does about each.07Getting startedTAPE2 runs on Robinhood Chain. You need a wallet on that chain, a little ETH for gas, WETH for premiums and strikes, and, if you want to write, some CASHCAT or PONS.08FAQFrom the pool itself. Every Uniswap v3 pool keeps a ring of observations written in every block it trades. `observe()` returns any window of that ring. The contract computes realized volatility over four windows, takes the highest plus 20 points, and prices the call with Black-Scholes off the 30-minute TWAP. The [pricing recipe](/docs/pricing-recipe) reproduces the number with one call.
